The joy of singing and being part of a choir is a special way of expressing our faith.
Chancel Choir
If you love music and you enjoy singing, we invite you to join the choir of voices that sing at the 10 AM service. You don’t have to be a professional. Amateurs welcome.
Bell Ringers
Our bell ringers joyfully transform the sound of ringing of bells into delightful music.
A NOTE FROM DALE WILLIAMS, CHOIR DIRECTOR
In the summer of 2024, a friend and colleague Nancy Callahan and I were discussing how much we loved singing in the grand cathedrals of Europe. Nancy carries her Chancel Choir from Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church in Tampa to Europe on a choir tour every other year. Out of the blue, she asked if I thought any of my choir members would be interested in joining them and a plan was born! Fast forward to now: twelve members of PAG’s Chancel Choir (and three spouses) are off to Europe! Over the course of fifteen months, the trip was solidified: a Viking river cruise traveling north up the Rhine River starting in Basel, Switzerland and ending in Amsterdam. With a total of 72 participants, 51 of whom are members of the combined choir, we will be singing in Strasbourg Cathedral (France), Speyer Cathedral (Germany) and Cologne Cathedral (Germany – pictured above). The only negative aspect of this fabulous trip is that we will not be presenting the much-loved annual Thanksgiving Concert at PAG. But have no fear – the concert will return next year! In the meantime, please keep us in your prayers and we wish for all a wonderful Thanksgiving season.
