March 29 Field Trip to Mendelssohn’s “Elijah”
Eight members of PAGBCC’s music ministry will be participating in a performance of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church in Tampa on Sunday, March 29 at 7 pm. Featuring Todd Donovan as Elijah, the 80-voice Tampa Oratorio Singers with professional soloists and orchestra (including Dale Williams) will present this much-loved oratorio depicting events in the life of the prophet Elijah as told in the books of 1st and 2nd Kings of the Old Testament. We have chartered a bus that will be leaving PAGBCC at 4 pm and returning at 10 pm. Dinner (on your own) will be at The Brother Trattoria in Tampa.
Cost for the event (concert ticket and transportation) is $50 and must be paid in advance. The reservation cuts-off date is Monday March 22.
